Toxicological information
When opening the drums and heating the material, e.g. when drying or processing the granulate, slight quantities of isocyanates, mainly di-isopropyl phenyl isocyanate and diphenylmethane-4, 4’- diisocyanate, may be evolved. Generation of isocyanate increases if the recommended processing temperature is exceeded. Higher concentrations can cause breathing difficulty. Sensitization may occur. Adequate ventilation should be used.
